It's never too late to contribute to AF through the United Way.  Did you know your United Way donations could support Adam...even if you live in another county or state?  You just have to use this special code!
 
 

Another Way to Support The Adam Foundation:

You may designate The Adam Foundation as a recipient of your United Way donations. But you must indicate a special number for us as we are NOT a formal "United Way" organization. At your next opportunity, simply designate the funds you are contributing by using the code 3068. Those funds will be automatically forwarded to the foundation.


Frequently, AF receives these donations in a "batched" payment from various local chapters of The United Way.  These batched payments MAY NOT identify the individual donors by name.  We would LOVE for you to inform us if you are a donor in this way.  We are more than happy to acknowledge you personally as an annual AF PARTNER if we have this confirmation by you of the overall amount you have pledged and how you prefer to be identified publicly (full name, anonymous, or initials only). 


At the very least, we'd like your info confidentially to be sure we send you a personal "thank you" note and to invite you to events for donors in specific categories ( such as $250 or more would have you be invited to the special  "Partners & Sponsors Thank You Pre -Party" which is typically held the night before our annual ADAM FESTIVAL).  We do not want anyone to feel overlooked when they have made a donation this way.  But we need your help to be sure we know WHO those United Way donors are each year.

The AF Board appreciates all gifts !  The United Way is a terrific way to make your community dollars have direct impact on LGBT projects while still spreading your payments out over time and taking advantage of payroll deductions if this method is offered through your workplace.

**** Please note that the United Way charges a service fee against AF donations for having these payments processed through United Way when we are not a formal member of the United Way. As of Fall 2012, AF is working towards making automatic recurring payments possible through our own AF website.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions. This AF process will mean more of your donation will go DIRECTLY to AF & our grants rather than being spent on United Way service charges.

****  REMINDER: Please be sure to also check for corporate matching opportunities that your company may offer for any charitable donations you make. We can help you with this process as well. That may mean your donation actually doubles in value for our AF grants!
